Have you ever dreamed of learning to play the harp and thought it would be too hard, too expensive and take too long?

I can tell you from my long experience as a harp teacher and harp player - I started teaching harp in music schools and privately when I was in my teens replacing my own teacher when she was away on tour- that most students can learn the basic harp position and play their favorite tune in as little as 10 lessons!

All you need is focus, enthusiasm, a little bit of practice and someone to guide you along the way!

What if I do not have a harp?

Aside from the lessons cost, you will need a harp so that you can practice!

If you do not own a harp yet, the best way to start is to rent a lever harp. There are many harp retailers who offer monthly harp rentals. The average cost is around $60/month and there are also rent to own programs available.

How much will I need to practice?

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. It is entirely up to you, It is better to set realistic, short but regular practice time. Consistency and focus are the keys to improving. You want your practice time to be fun not another chore!

Where do I teach?

I teach lever and pedal harp in Santa Barbara, Montecito and Goleta and will travel to your home.

Online harp lessons are available worldwide in English and French.
